Auctiva's management team
is experienced at seizing opportunities in the high-growth
technology sector. Under their focused leadership and direction,
Auctiva develops intelligent, innovative solutions strategically
targeting the dynamic market of small businesses selling
online.
Mark
A. Schwartz
Chief Executive Officer
Mark brings considerable leadership and strategic planning
experience with high-growth technology companies to his
role as CEO of Auctiva. He led all engineering efforts at
two New York-based software startups - ClientXChange.com,
where he architected and oversaw development of a leading
CRM package for the financial services industry, and Internet
Resources Corporation, where he directed engineering teams
creating software and Internet solutions for a variety of
industry verticals. As a management consultant with the
boutique consulting firm Mitchell Madison Group (a McKinsey
spin-off later acquired by USWeb) he worked with fast-growing
technology companies to chart strategic directions and streamline
operations; later, he put this consulting and engineering
experience to use developing early stage startup concepts
as a freelance consultant and with a venture incubator.
Mark's leadership abilities extend into other areas as well
- he has directed films and theater. Mark received a BS
degree in Computer Science with honors from Yale University
and an MBA with Director's List honors from the Wharton
School of Business.
Jeff
Schlicht
VP Engineering
As the founder of Auctiva, a frequent auction poster, and
the creator of Auctiva Poster auction software, Jeff has
gained considerable insight into the needs of online auction
sellers. An avid auction seller, Jeff created Auctiva Poster
to automate the time-consuming process of selling his products
(lumps of coal from the Titanic!) on eBay. Prior to founding
Auctiva, Jeff spent eight years in software development,
including architecting and developing supply chain planning
software for PeopleSoft. He received his BS in Computer
Science from California State University, Chico.
Adam
Stock
VP of Products, Services, and Strategic Alliances
Adam has an impressive track record of bringing definition
and vision to companies' product lines, as well as considerable
experience in forging key strategic partnerships. He has
grown several startups from their earliest stages to hundreds
of employees. Adam will be driving Auctiva's strategic partnering
efforts, drawing upon his experience as Vice President of
Marketing and Business Development for Veon, Inc. where
he was responsible for building partnerships with Excite@Home,
AOL and Cablevision. His extensive experience in marketing
and business development for startups has included positions
with Electronics for Imaging (EFII) as Director of Product
Planning, and Liberate Technologies (LBRT) as Director of
Marketing. Adam received a BS with honors in Computer Science
from Yale University.
Raj Yogi
VP of Marketing
Raj's ability to exponentially increase Web traffic and
build user bases for software products has been amply demonstrated
in his marketing leadership roles for both Internet and
packaged software companies. As Vice President of Marketing
at SayIt.com, Raj provided strategic expertise in integration
of online and offline marketing efforts, thereby creating
one of the top 250 most-trafficked Web sites worldwide,
with over 2 million unique visitors per month. Prior to
SayIt, he was Vice President of Marketing for International
Microcomputer Software, Inc. (IMSI), a $65 million software
publisher in Novato, California, where he increased the
company's online sales from $250,000 to $6 million in 1999,
and increased Web site traffic five-fold, to 1.5 million
unique visitors. Raj also served as Market Analysis Director
at Cognitiative, Inc., a marketing consulting group for
leading software companies including Sybase, Oracle and
Sun Microsystems. He began his marketing career with Crawford
& Co. as a database consultant before joining Infinite Machines
Corp. as a marketing analyst. Raj holds an undergraduate
degree in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA with
emphasis in Marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno.
